ATREON Receives InnoDigital Grant to Boost DETECTRA’s Impact

We’re thrilled to announce that ATREON, a digital health company based in Vaud, has received the InnoDigital Grant from the Canton of Vaud to accelerate the development of DETECTRA, our AI-powered solution for remote arthritis monitoring.

This recognition supports our mission to improve chronic disease care by harnessing digital technologies, and wouldn’t have been possible without the support of PACTT (Technology Transfer Office of the CHUV and UNIL), whose guidance helped bring DETECTRA from academic research into real-world application.

DETECTRA uses computer vision and digital biomarkers to analyze hand images and provide objective, continuous insights into joint inflammation and disease progression. It empowers physicians with real-time data while reducing the burden on patients.

Thanks to this grant, ATREON will:

  • Further develop DETECTRA’s technology and infrastructure

  • Strengthen its clinical validation

  • Bring remote, personalized arthritis care to more patients and providers

We’re grateful to the Canton of Vaud, PACTT, and all our partners for believing in DETECTRA’s potential to transform rheumatology care.
