Scientific Publication: Laying the Groundwork for the technology developed for our digital biomarker
In June 2022, a key scientific milestone was published in the journal Digital Biomarkers, presenting the research that laid the foundation for the digital biomarker we use today.
This study introduced an innovative approach to detecting joint swelling in rheumatoid arthritis by analyzing hand images. The research demonstrated how the morphology of finger folds can serve as a reliable indicator of joint inflammation.
This work validated the concept that simple hand images could be transformed into actionable clinical insights. The results of this study set the stage for further developments in digital biomarkers and remote patient monitoring.
